Morrisons says staff have approved a pay deal raising hourly rates for supermarket and manufacturing workers in three phases in 2026.

The pay deal received 91.87% support in a ballot of supermarket and manufacturing staff covered by its agreement with USDAW. The established rate of pay for a customer assistant will increase to £13.11 by 26 October 2026, with other hourly rates also rising, and eligible staff will receive a one-off payment of £25 to £175.
