British Nutrition Foundation report urges supermarkets to make healthy food cheaper than HFSS products
The report, being submitted to the government and launched at an industry conference, argues that promotion restrictions introduced in 2022 have failed to shift diets. It calls for a sustained commitment to everyday low pricing of healthy staples such as wholegrain bread, rice and pasta.
