Opal says its organised retail crime unit made 237 arrests in two years leading to 118 years of jail sentences.

The organised retail crime team within Opal has identified 605 offenders since launching in May 2024 and recovered tens of thousands of pounds worth of stolen goods. Its work has also led to 22 deportations.
