Germany’s Federal Statistical Office reports meat substitute production fell 1.2% in 2025 to 124,900 tons

A total of 124,900 tons of meat alternatives were produced domestically in 2025, down from 126,500 tons in 2024. Production value declined 2.2% to €632.6 million.
