Singapore Food Agency grants regulatory approval to Amai Proteins’ sweelin sweet protein for use in food and beverages.
Israeli food-tech company Amai Proteins secured regulatory approval from the Singapore Food Agency for use of its flagship sweet protein, sweelin, across a wide range of applications, including food and beverages, confectionery, chewing gum, condiments and dietary supplements. Sweelin is the first precision fermentation-derived sweet protein approved in Singapore, according to the company.
