Southern Co-op members ratify merger with the Co-operative Group.

At a second Special General Meeting, Southern members voted to confirm the merger after 97.07% backed the deal in an earlier vote. The merger is set to create an organisation with sales of circa £11.5bn, subject to regulatory approval.
