UK food sector leaders urge government to treat food security as national security after climate risk report.
Responding to the Climate Change Committee’s ‘A Well Adapted UK’ report, industry leaders said “food and nutrition security must be treated as national security”. The committee concluded the UK is “simply not prepared for the climate risks it is already facing”.
