UK retail sales fall 1.3% in April, largest monthly drop in nearly a year, ONS says
Retail sales volumes tumbled by 1.3% on the month in April, the biggest monthly decline since May 2025, the Office for National Statistics said. Compared with a year earlier, volumes were flat.
