The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will remove its plant-based milk surcharge starting June 3 after a campaign by PETA.
The Los Angeles-based chain said it will drop the upcharge for plant-based milk alternatives beginning June 3. PETA said more than 20,000 supporters contacted the company and the group held a direct meeting with executives.
