Food Standards Australia New Zealand proposes minimum vitamin D levels and new labelling rules for toddler milk.
Vitamin D has to meet the minimum target of 0.36 μg/100 kJ, which is aligned with CODEX standards. The proposal also prohibits nutrition content and health claims on toddler milk and requires such products to be differentiated from infant formula and other foods.
