Germany’s per capita drinking milk consumption fell to a historic low of 45.1 kilograms in 2025, BZL reports.
Per capita consumption of drinking milk in Germany has fallen by more than a quarter over the past three decades and reached 45.1 kilograms in 2025. The figures were published by the Federal Information Centre for Agriculture (BZL) ahead of International Milk Day on June 1.
