Your Period Just Hit the Beverage Aisle

2h ago · 5 sources · distribution

The Cycle is taking women’s health straight into the mainstream beverage aisle. The Los Angeles brand just rolled out nationwide in Sprouts Farmers Market with its full four-flavor line, now available in 12oz cans.

The pitch is simple but bold. Instead of one catch-all wellness drink, The Cycle is built around phases. Pre-Period Comfort. Period Comfort. Peri Comfort. Meno Comfort. Each formula uses a base of Himalayan Holy Fruit, also known as sea buckthorn, plus botanicals traditionally used in women’s wellness. Everything is non-sparkling, caffeine-free, zero added sugar, and free from artificial colours, sweeteners, or preservatives.

Founder Anastasia Sartan, a former Snapchat product director, frames it as meeting women where they are hormonally, not trying to fix them. That framing matters. Functional beverages have spent years chasing energy, focus, and gut health. Now the cooler is getting more specific.

Nationwide distribution at Sprouts signals that cycle-based wellness is not a niche DTC experiment anymore. It is shelf-ready. Retail buyers are betting that women want products designed around real physiological phases, not vague promises.

Call it phase-based merchandising. The bigger takeaway is this, women’s health is becoming a defined beverage subcategory. And it just earned national placement.
