**Your Period Now Has a Beverage Aisle**

2h ago · 6 sources · distribution

Women’s health brand The Cycle just went nationwide at Sprouts Farmers Market, rolling out its full four variants of RTD beverages across the United States. The line is built around the menstrual cycle, with Pre-Period Comfort, Period Comfort, Peri Comfort and Meno Comfort now sitting in the mainstream beverage aisle.

Each 12oz can is formulated with a base of Himalayan Holy Fruit, also known as sea buckthorn, plus phase-specific botanicals traditionally used in women’s wellness. All variants are non-sparkling, caffeine-free, contain zero added sugar, and skip artificial colours, sweeteners and preservatives. Clean label meets cycle syncing.

The Cycle was founded in Los Angeles by Anastasia Sartan, a former Snapchat product director. Now the brand is moving from niche idea to national shelf set.

Why it matters: functional beverages keep slicing into tighter need states. Energy was the first wave. Gut health followed. Now we are seeing women’s health beverages claim physical shelf space, not just social media buzz. Four variants mapped to life stages is a bold merchandising bet. It asks retailers to treat hormonal health like hydration or immunity.

Quick take: putting “Period Comfort” on a can in the mainstream aisle is the real disruption. If shoppers respond, expect more brands to build beverages around specific biological moments. The beverage set is becoming less about flavor and more about function.
