**When Your Period Gets Its Own Beverage Aisle**
1h ago · 6 sources · distribution
The Cycle just went nationwide with Sprouts Farmers Market, rolling out its full line of RTD beverages across the United States. Not tucked into a niche wellness corner either. The brand has launched its phase-based functional beverage range straight into the mainstream beverage aisle.
The concept is simple and bold. Four variants, Pre-Period Comfort, Period Comfort, Peri Comfort and Meno Comfort. Each one is built around Himalayan Holy Fruit, also known as sea buckthorn, plus phase-specific botanicals traditionally used in women’s wellness. All come in 12oz cans. Non-sparkling. Caffeine-free. Zero added sugar. No artificial colours, sweeteners, or preservatives.
Founder Anastasia Sartan, a former Snapchat product director based in Los Angeles, is betting that women’s health beverages belong next to kombucha and sparkling water, not hidden in supplements.
Why it matters. Functional beverages keep slicing into tighter need states. Energy. Gut health. Immunity. Now menstrual cycles and menopause, merchandised like any other drink occasion. Sprouts giving this nationwide shelf space signals that women’s health is no longer a taboo niche. It is a beverage segment.
Quick take. The real shift is placement. When cycle support sits in the beverage aisle in a 12oz can, it moves from remedy to routine. That is how categories scale.
